An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join a market-leading international contractor renowned for delivering some of the UK`s most complex and prestigious construction projects.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint an ambitious commercial leader to help drive the successful delivery of a portfolio of flagship projects across London.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional commercial management role.

You`ll take ownership of the commercial strategy on major projects, working alongside senior operational teams to ensure successful delivery from pre-construction through to final account.

You`ll have the autonomy to influence key commercial decisions, lead experienced project teams and play a significant role in the continued growth of an industry-leading contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial delivery of major construction projects.
• Develop commercial strategy from tender through to completion.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor accounts and contractual matters.
• Oversee forecasting, cost reporting and financial performance.
• Administer JCT and NEC contracts.
• Manage change control, variations and final accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Mentor and develop members of the commercial team.

About You

You`ll be an experienced commercial professional with a proven track record of delivering high-value construction projects for a recognised main contractor.

You`ll ideally possess:

• Experience as a Senior Commercial Manager, Commercial Manager or Managing Quantity Surveyor.
• A background delivering complex commercial, fit out, refurbishment or mixed-use developments.
• Excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
• The ability to build lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
