Junior Electrical Project Engineer – Data Centres (Finland)

Start your engineering career on Europe’s most advanced data centre projects.

We’re seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading M&E contractor delivering large-scale, mission-critical facilities across Europe. This role will initially be based in Finland, supporting the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects where reliability, resilience, and technical excellence are paramount.

Working alongside senior engineers and project managers, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle — from design and procurement through to installation, testing, and commissioning. With structured training, international project exposure, and a clear career pathway, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop quickly into a Project Engineer or Project Manager role.

The Role

·      As a Junior Electrical Project Engineer, you will:

·      Assist in the design coordination and review of electrical systems for hyperscale data centres.

·      Support project scheduling, logistics, and on-site coordination activities.

·      Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of critical packages.

·      Contribute to technical documentation, drawings, and design details.

·      Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

·      Gain exposure to best practice in high-performance engineering environments.

About You

  •  We’re looking for a motivated engineer with the ambition to grow in a fast-paced, international setting. You should have:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • EU passport
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles and building services fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical services, including LV distribution, containment, power systems, and resilience (UPS/generator backup)
  • Familiar with European codes/standards and health & safety compliance
  • Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe as projects required
  • Driver’s licence (essential due to project location)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar design role, preferably within data center, critical infrastructure, or industrial environments.
  •  Ideally site experience/exposure

What’s on Offer

·      Technical training and career progression opportunities.

·      International project exposure with travel and accommodation support.

·      Chance to work on cutting-edge data centres for global technology clients.

·      Attractive rotation package.

·      Immediate start available.
