The Role

We are seeking a Drylining Estimator to join the commercial team and contribute to the successful delivery of complex interior projects. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for drylining, partitioning, and associated interior packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for drylining and interior fit out projects, from initial enquiry to tender submission.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce robust bids.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and develop proposals.
• Assess risk, material requirements, labour, and programme implications for projects.
• Support pre-contract meetings, value engineering exercises, and bid clarifications.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry costs, trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development of commercial processes and estimation standards within the team.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an estimator in drylining, partitions, ceilings, or interior fit out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Experience in preparing competitive tenders for Tier 1 contractor projects.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Knowledge of construction software or estimating platforms (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, CCS) is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
