Commissioning Engineer - Data Centers (EMEA)

We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team delivering high-performance commissioning services for data center and mission-critical projects across EMEA.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects for major international clients, leading technical teams and ensuring commissioning excellence from design through to full operational handover.
The Role
In this role, you’ll act as a key technical lead, supporting both the client and the wider project team through every stage of the commissioning process. You’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on large-scale data center developments while working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
You will:
- Manage and coordinate commissioning activities across multiple stakeholders — including clients, general contractors, vendors, and operational teams.
- Develop and author detailed testing plans and scripts.
- Witness and execute factory (FAT) and on-site (SAT / Level 3–4) testing.
- Lead and participate in integrated systems testing (IST).
- Review project commissioning schedules and contribute to project-specific commissioning plans.
- Perform commission ability and design reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Oversee or support commissioning of mechanical and control systems, including BMS, EPMS, HVAC, chillers, and associated plant.
- Attend key meetings with stakeholders and provide clear, professional communication.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
You’ll ideally have:
- Minimum 5 years’ commissioning experience, preferably in data centers or other mission-critical environments (e.g., pharmaceuticals, industrial, healthcare).
- A strong background in Electrical, Mechanical, or BMS Controls engineering.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently when required.
- Willingness to travel across Europe for site and factory testing (typically Monday–Friday).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with project planning software is a plus.
