About the Role

The business is looking for someone to spearhead their Technical Services Department which currently sits at 4. They are open to levels of experience and would be interested in taking on someone as a Senior TSM with the view to progressing them into a Department Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for contractual, financial, commercial, and technical input. The successful candidate will be involved in the full project lifecycle from Bid to Handover.

Roles & Responsibilites 

• Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities, identify and win projects through effective relationships and create a pipeline of opportunities.
• Develop and manage all bids, tenders, and proposals.
• Ensure projects are secured and delivered on time and within the financial requirements and margins as specified.
• Leading teams in the safe delivery of projects and identify, reduce, and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise)
• Sub-contractor selection and management
• Financial responsibility for the delivery of the annual projects plan, manage the monthly P&L and ensure all costs are fully accountable and recoverable.
• Production of required financial and management reports.
• Recruit and retain talent for the present delivery and future growth of projects

Ideal Candidate

• Experience on Bepsoke projects.
• Experience managing small teams.
• Experience in a senior management role
• Have relationships with relevant supply chain including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Have significant experience delivering multiple projects; to understand the fundamentals of managing multiple project teams.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a multiple job running role.
