As our furniture offering continues to grow, we`re looking for an experienced Furniture Project Manager to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering furniture packages for a wide range of commercial office fit-out projects, working alongside talented colleagues in design, pre-construction and project delivery.
The Role
You`ll be responsible for managing furniture packages from initial design sign-off through to installation and final handover. Working across multiple projects, you`ll coordinate suppliers, manage programmes and budgets, and ensure every installation is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
This is a client-facing role, so you`ll need to be confident building relationships, solving problems and keeping projects moving. No two days are the same, and you`ll thrive if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail really matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage furniture packages through every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the Design, Commercial, Procurement and Project Delivery teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Produce and manage furniture programmes, procurement schedules and installation plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with furniture manufacturers, suppliers and installation teams.
- Manage procurement activities, purchase orders and supplier performance.
- Monitor budgets, variations and project costs to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate deliveries, warehousing and installation logistics.
- Attend client meetings and act as the main point of contact for all furniture-related matters.
- Carry out site visits to monitor installation quality and progress.
- Resolve issues quickly and proactively to minimise programme delays.
- Ensure installations are completed safely and in line with project and site requirements.
- Manage snagging and oversee a smooth project handover.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
About You
- At least two years` experience in a Furniture Project Manager or similar role.
- Experience delivering furniture packages for commercial office fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of furniture procurement, logistics and installation.
- Excellent organisational and programme management skills.
- The ability to manage several live projects at once without compromising quality.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets and variations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering a first-class client experience.
