NOTE - This Senior F&M Manager role is in the luxury retail space, if you do not have extensive experience in these fields or high end environments throughout your career, please do not apply.
About the Role
We’re partnering with a world-renowned luxury house, a brand synonymous with artistry, heritage, and uncompromising quality. Every detail of their UK estate, from flagship boutiques to offices and logistics hubs, must embody that legacy.
As Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you’ll be the guardian of excellence behind the scenes. Your expertise will keep systems seamless, spaces immaculate, and experiences exceptional, whether supporting a new store opening on Bond Street or ensuring a back-of-house facility runs flawlessly.
This is not a role for someone who hides in the background. You’ll be visible, trusted, and integral, working closely with the real estate team and senior leadership to ensure every environment reflects the brand’s impeccable standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead excellence across all planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance within the UK portfolio.
- Oversee critical systems including HVAC, lighting, lifts, security, access control, fire safety, and more.
- Champion Health & Safety compliance — conducting risk assessments, audits, and ensuring statutory standards are met.
- Own budgets and assets — managing resources with precision and accountability.
- Manage and develop contractors, leading tenders, negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Provide technical expertise for refurbishments and new store openings, ensuring seamless delivery and impeccable finish.
- Support operational efficiency through minor works, renovations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You bring a deep understanding of facilities and maintenance management, within luxury or premium retail environments, where attention to detail and presentation are everything.
- 5+ years’ experience in FM or maintenance leadership
- Proven success in luxury, premium, or high-end retail
- Experience working directly within retail or through trusted FM partnerships
- NEBOSH (or equivalent) Health & Safety qualification
- Strong technical grasp of building systems and services
- Skilled in budgeting, compliance, and contractor management
- A confident communicator, equally at ease with board members, project teams, and boutique staff
- Meticulous, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel across the UK to support an evolving estate
