An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident Document Controller to join a traditional privately owned M&E subcontractor based in Kent. They are specialist in government, commercial office and healthcare sector with projects valuing up to £5M. You will report to the Office Manager and be a part of a strong ethical friendly administration team. This opportunity with give you the ability to make the department your own.
Roles & Responsibilites
- Generation of reports
- Management of electronic correspondence, document storage, transmittal systems and procedures.
- Preparing documents for uploading / downloading
- Managing schedules of drawings and RFIs
- Manage existing document control process and procedures and support development / implementation of new project systems and procedures.
- Assisting the Project Leads with identifying relevant drawings that shall form part of the baseline and working with the Drawing Manager in keeping the drawings register up to date.
- Updating weekly reports to issue to Clients.
- Chasing contractors for site reports.
- Checking dispatch documents are accurate.
- Update the revisions on drawings and as built drawings.
- Printing and scanning documents for supervisors and site manager.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate with have experience as a Document Controller within construction. You will have a positive attitude and demonstrate the ability to convey a professional and personable image in all communications.
