Prefabrication Manager – London (Site Based)

The Role
We’re looking for a Prefab Manager to support a major London project involving the off-site manufacture of over 1,000 MEP modules. This is a site-based role coordinating all prefabrication activities, from design reviews and QA sign-offs to production monitoring and logistics planning.
You’ll work closely with the Senior PM, visit the prefab yard weekly (occasionally twice weekly during peak periods), and ensure modules are delivered on time, compliant, and ready for installation.
Travel to the prefab yard is covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update prefab programs, trackers, and progress reports.
- Carry out 3D model reviews and prefab drawing checks.
- Lead coordination meetings with trades and prefab yard teams.
- Manage QA sign-offs, inspections, and client visits.
- Oversee logistics planning for module deliveries.
- Report risks, issues, and progress to the Senior PM.
Required Experience
- Mechanical background (pipefitting, mechanical engineering, or similar).
- Experience with off-site fabrication, large pipe modules, or skids is highly desirable.
- Competent with 3D model review tools (Navisworks or similar).
- Able to produce basic isometrics/sketches, update programs (PDF/ASTA), and use Excel confidently.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Positive, proactive attitude – collaborative and solutions-focused.
Working Hours
- Precon: 08:00–17:00
- Construction: May shift earlier, but total daily hours unchanged.
