Data Centre Campus - Harlow (New Build DC)

Project Overview

£180 million Design & Build (D&B) data centre development comprising:

• Two floors of data halls
• Ground-floor plant room and associated critical infrastructure
• Full mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) installation
• Mission-critical environment built to hyperscale data centre standards

The Mechanical Construction Manager will be responsible for the safe planning, coordination, execution and handover of all mechanical works throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, quality and commissioning requirements. Manage all mechanical construction activities from installation through commissioning and handover.Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project programme milestones.

Coordinate mechanical packages including:

• Chilled water systems
• HVAC systems
• CRAH/CRAC installations
• Cooling distribution infrastructure
• Plant room installations
• Pipework systems
• Water treatment systems
• Fuel systems
• Ventilation systems
• Building Management System (BMS) interfaces
• Fire suppression interfaces
• Monitor productivity and progress against programme.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and constraints.
• Ensure mechanical installations comply with design intent, specifications and client requirements.
