Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer - £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits

You`ll be involved in the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from initial concept through to construction. Working alongside experienced engineers, you`ll gain exposure to a broad range of commercial and residential schemes while developing your technical knowledge and taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects.
• Produce detailed design and technical information packages in line with project programmes.
• Develop practical and innovative engineering solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, sustainability consultants, and wider design teams.
• Attend client and project meetings as a representative of the business.
• Utilise industry-standard software including CAD, Revit, and BIM platforms.
• Carry out engineering calculations and performance assessments to support design decisions.
• Support and mentor junior engineers where required.
• Assist in the successful delivery of projects through all key design stages.

The ideal candidate:

·      5 years + experience as a electrical designer/engineer

·      Ideally have a HNC or HND and good technical knowledge of electrial design services.

·      Experience working in the commercial sector

·      Have the right forward-thinking attitude
