A leading main contractor with a strong London pipeline is looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to support delivery across its Department for Education (DfE) framework projects.
The business has a solid reputation across education, residential and mixed-use sectors, with a secured workload and consistent project flow across London.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of MEP delivery on new build school schemes, managing packages from late preconstruction through to commissioning and handover.
This is a site-focused, delivery-led role where you’ll be driving subcontractor performance and ensuring MEP packages are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing MEP packages from PCSA through to completion
- Coordinating mechanical & electrical installations on site
- Driving programme and installation sequencing
- Overseeing M&E subcontractors and holding them accountable
- Reviewing technical submissions and drawings
- Ensuring QA, compliance, and commissioning readiness
- Supporting commercial teams with variations and change control
- Leading commissioning and handover process

Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Building Services Manager or MEP Manager
- Schools / education project experience is essential
- Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical coordination
- Track record of managing subcontractors on live sites
- Main contractor background preferred (open to strong MEP subcontractor candidates stepping up)
- Confident working with site teams, consultants, and clients
