Salary: £80k/year - £90k/year Permanent London

With continued investment in digital construction and an impressive portfolio of life sciences, healthcare and commercial projects, they`re looking to appoint a BIM Manager to lead their BIM function and support the delivery of technically complex projects.

Role: BIM Manager - £80,000 - £90,000 + Package

 

As BIM Manager, you`ll be responsible for managing BIM delivery across a range of major life sciences, healthcare and commercial projects, ensuring projects are delivered in line with company standards, client requirements and industry best practice.

You`ll provide technical leadership to the BIM team, oversee project coordination, develop BIM standards and workflows, and work closely with internal stakeholders to continuously improve digital delivery across the business.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee BIM delivery across multiple projects, ensuring digital processes support programme, quality and project objectives.
  • Manage the coordination and development of federated BIM models across multidisciplinary MEP teams.
  • Embed BIM principles throughout every stage of the project lifecycle, from design and coordination through to installation and final handover.
  • Review model quality, oversee clash detection activities and ensure coordination issues are identified and resolved efficiently.
  • Drive the continuous development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows and digital best practices across the business.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with BIM Execution Plans, client requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Act as the primary BIM contact, working closely with design consultants, project teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Lead and contribute to design coordination meetings, helping to resolve clashes, buildability challenges and technical issues.
  • Work collaboratively with Design Managers, Project Managers and site teams to support the successful delivery of coordinated MEP solutions.
  • Oversee digital handover requirements, ensuring project information and asset data are complete and compliant.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a BIM Manager, BIM Lead or Senior BIM Coordinator position.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
  • Tier 1 Stage 5 experience
  • Experience delivering BIM on healthcare, life sciences or other complex building services projects.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, digital coordination and information management.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
