The Client 

We are currently working with an up and coming fit out contractor working primarily in the commercial office fit out/refurb sector. The business takes on a mix off CAT A/B Fit Out, heavy refurbishment and cut/crave projects typically between £500k - £25m. They currently turnover £90m taking on projects within Central London, most of that turnover is acquired through repeat business.

Roles & Responsibilites 

• Work with Pre-Construction team in developing the M&E elements to tender.
• Tender review and sub-contractor tender evaluation
• Lead the M&E elements to bid presentations
• Attend project meetings and produce reports. Build relationships with clients/contractors as part of the team.
• Attend meetings with designers, specialist contractors and internal teams
• Review of designs to ensure compliance to specification
• Review, assess and select M&E sub-contractors
• Knowledge of market rates and have commercial input to the procurement team.
• On site review and management of building services installation to ensure contract compliance
• Ensure health and safety policy is adhered during project duration

Ideal Candidate 

• Proven experience in a building services engineering role, with some experience in project management or assistant project management.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, building services, and construction processes.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Competence in using project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and health and safety standards.
