Technical Services Manager | London
Up to £90,000 + Package
A well-established Tier 1 main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager to join their growing London team.
The business has a strong track record delivering complex commercial fit out and refurbishment projects, working with a range of high-profile clients across London.
This is a hands-on technical role where you will have significant responsibility across the MEP delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
- Take ownership of MEP technical delivery across projects
- Manage MEP design, technical queries and design development
- Attend and lead client/design team meetings and MEP workshops
- Manage technical submittals, drawings, RFIs and TQs
- Work closely with MEP subcontractors, consultants and site teams
- Assist with design and construction programmes
- Lead MEP commissioning and handover activities
- Review and level MEP subcontractor quotations
- Provide technical input into tenders and pre-construction
- Support the wider project team through to successful completion
About You
We`re looking for someone with:
- Strong MEP / Building Services background
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist subcontractor
- Proven experience within commercial fit out, refurbishment or similar projects
- Strong technical and pre-construction experience
- Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to take ownership and work autonomously
