The Client
My client delivers fast track Cat A and Cat B fit-out and refurbishment projects that create a lasting impact. They are known for their integrated design, procurement, fit out and aftercare service on large-scale or bespoke projects. They are part of a larger
building, infrastructure and engineering company. They have secured a range of projects heading into 2024 which includes government contracts and public sector works. They typically deliver projects from £2m to £20m.
The Role
Technical Services Manager – Central London – Between £70,000 - £90,000 + Full Travel + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus (10%)
The successful candidate will be based in London working as part of a team of TSM’s where they will manage projects from cradle to grave.
The Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining iCare / H&S standards across all work faces
- Direct management of MEP design, progress & quality issues
- MEP representation in client design meetings
- Chair MEP design workshops with client
- Ownership of technical submittal process
- Ownership of MEP drawing review process
- Ownership of O&M & record information process
- Assist Project Lead, Project Planner & PMs in compilation of construction programmes
- Assist Snr DM & DM with production of design programmes
- Take the lead in production of commissioning programmes (liaising with PL & Planner)
- Management of services RFI process
- Daily liaison with TDE supervisors
- Issue and answer TQ’s
- Proved technical narrative’s in response to scored tender questions
- Assist planner with construction programmes
- Review and level MEP quotations
- Attend tender interviews
- Issue and answer TQ’s

The Ideal Candidate
- Relevant Building Services qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) good understanding of both disciplines required.
- Experience working with a main contractor or subcontractor.
- Strong attention to detail
- Worked within a Fit Out/Refurbishment market
