The Client
Our client is a nationally renowned M&E Contractor who turnover in excess of £250M. With numerous offices throughout the country their client base ranges from end users to large main contractors, including: Kier, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Sir Robert McAlpine. They specialise in technically challenging projects within the Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Residential and R&D sectors. Following the appointment on a major project in North London, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager / Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the project.
The Role
Mechanical Project Manager – Day Rate – £350 - £450 per day (CIS)

Project: New build mixed use development consisting of very high end residential units and large commercial amenities. The project is circa £25 million M&E and the program runs through to late 2025.
The Responsibilities
- Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)
- Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant
- Technical submittals
- RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors
- Value Engineering where applicable
- Programming of works
- Health & Safety management (RAMS)
- Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.
- Management of variations
- Team Coordination (overseeing engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
- Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings
- Overseeing commissioning stages
- Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
