With a turnover of circa £250 million, the client is one of London’s leading M&E Contractors who are responsible for delivering some of London’s flagship Commercial, Healthcare, Data centre and pharmaceutical projects. This is an excellent opportunity to be apart of a thriving Tier 1 M&E contractor and be apart of some of the biggest projects in and around the capital. Role & Responsibilites 

The successful candidate will be responsible for being the senior manager on one of Canary Wharfs largest office spaces. The client is refurbishing multiple floors which includes a circa £10million MEP package,

• Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant
• Technical submittals
• RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors
• Value Engineering where applicable
• Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta project
• Health & Safety management (RAMs)
• Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.
• Management of variations
• Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
• Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings
• Overseeing commissioning stages
• Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover

Ideal Candidate 

• Experience working within commercial fitout sector
• Experience in a management role
• Have significant experience delivering projects through project completion
