This job role is paid per day @ £350 - £400

The Client 

Our client is a nationally renowned M&E Contractor who turnover in excess of £250M. With numerous offices throughout the country their client base ranges from end users to large main contractors, including: Kier, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Carillion. They specialise in technically challenging projects within the Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Residential and R&D sectors. Following the appointment on a major project in Central London, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Construction Manager.

Roles & Responsibilites 

• Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
• Short term programming.
• Health & Safety (RAMS).
• Technical Submissions.
• Preparation/issuing all RFI.
• Sub-contractor coordination.
• Management of commissioning stages
• Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
• Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client

Ideal Candidate 

• Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services.
• Experience working in the commercial sector
• Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5M within your own discipline
• A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
• Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, ISg, Mace, Wates, etc.
