We are representing a leading Data Centre Contractor throughout the UK and Europe. They have a history of delivering major projects for clients such as Googe, AWS, Equinix, Colt. Alongside delivering hyperscale Data Centres, they’re specialists in delivering high quality Commercial, Health/Pharmaceutical, Education, Retail. As a result of winning multiple Data Centre projects across Europe, they are actively looking to recruit for their operational team. This is a great opportunity to join their growing team as the projects are huge and open a new world of Mission Critical prospects.
The project you’ll be working on is a hyperscale data centre project in excess of £100M+. This opportunity provides the chance to work on highly technical mission critical projects, alongside working with skilled professionals across multiple divisions.
Roles & Responsibilites
- Manage client relationships effectively.
- Strategically deliver projects from pre-construction phases though to construction handover.
- Ensure efficient communication between client/end-user and the project site, driving consistent improvement across all areas.
- Provide leadership support to teams, ensuring effective training is given to heighten project awareness and health & safety protocols etc.
- Manage resources and costs associated with planning processes throughout the life cycle of active projects.
- Deliver project updates to senior management and clients.
- Establish and monitor project performance to ensure timelines are being met and that standards remain high.
- Introduce effective management procedures during construction phases, especially related to subcontractor management.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in the Data Centre sector with experience in full Project Life Cycle Management of Data Centres, with a mixture of Consultancy/Main Contracting experience.
- Experience managing projects within your own discipline (mechanical or electrical).
- A minimum 10 years’ experience in a management role.
- Happy with a 17/4 Rotation
