The Client
Working throughout several sectors including new builds - residential and commercial, office fit-ots and refurbishing MEP services, the business has seen profitable growth over the last 8 years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects 2025 to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they are now looking to increase turnover to £30M, consequently they are looking to expand their operations team.
Role/Responsibilities
- Involvement in estimating from build ability prospective and mid bid meetings
- Tender review/validation
- Upfront engineering – looking at high level procurement and design
- Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)
- Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta project
- Development of teams – including recruitment of PM’s, Engineers and Site Managers and staff development
- Value Engineering where applicable
- All deliverables on a project
- Client relationship management – Main contractor, MEP consultant, professional team downstream to subcontractors)
- Overall lead – Technically, commercially, operationally
- Overseeing projects from £3m - £10m MEP value
The ideal candidate
- Come from a contracts/operations manager background and have a history of delivering multiple projects from cradle to grave.
- Must have experience within commercial office and residential sectors.
