Intermediate M&E Planner
Location: Basingstoke (Onsite & Remote) - Covering projects in the Southern Region
Salary: £70,000 – Package (Car Allowance + Pension + Private Healthcare)

Our client is a leading contractor throughout the UK whilst also having an international presence. They’ve made a name for themselves in multiple sectors across the construction industry and operate in the MOD, Healthcare, Life Sciences and many more sectors. As being apart of group, they’re financially stable and have a dynamic partnership with each division within the group. As a group, they have a projected £4.5bn annual revenue with multiple project wins still in the pipeline.
The Role
The Intermediate MEP Planner will have the exposure to work on multiple live projects in various sectors, mainly encompassing projects in the MOD, Life Sciences, Education and Commercial sectors, with having the opportunity to explore many more outside of these. This role is a great opportunity to hone in on developing MEP planning skills necessary for continued growth and internal progression.
Responsibilites
As an M&E Planner, you will be working across multiple projects in a range of sectors.
Your day to day will include:
- Create and maintain project MEP programmes using Asta PowerProject and Primavera P6, ensuring compliance with Kier's standards and contract requirements.
- Monitor project progress on-site using relevant tools, identify risks and delays, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Review supply chain programmes, coordinate with teams to mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with the contract programme.
- Participate in meetings to discuss project status with teams and the supply chain, fostering clear communication.
- Promote an inclusive workplace, encouraging diversity and supporting team wellbeing.
What are we looking for?
A couple of key requirements we're looking for in an M&E Planner are:
- Intermediate or advanced level user of Asta PowerProject
- Experience with NEC contracts is essential
- Mechanical or electrical experience is essential
- Eligibility for SC clearance
- Previous on-site experience as an MEP planner
