The Opportunity
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical package within a large-scale, multi-disciplinary construction project. Working as part of a collaborative project team, you will lead the end-to-end delivery across design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
This is a key leadership role within a technically complex environment, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in a landmark development.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day management of the electrical package, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality expectations
- Ensure full compliance across design, engineering, construction and commissioning processes
- Add value through design review and challenge, improving buildability, programme efficiency and reducing whole-life cost and carbon
- Manage procurement, logistics and installation strategy across your scope
- Develop and maintain robust project controls and reporting processes
- Take ownership of programme delivery, including development, monitoring and mitigation planning (Plan B scenarios)
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants and client stakeholders
- Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement across the business
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within a Tier One contractor or leading MEP contractor environment
- Strong track record delivering large-scale, technically complex MEP projects, ideally within life sciences, healthcare or commercial sectors
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple interfaces, disciplines and work sequencing
- Strong leadership capability with experience leading teams and driving performance
- Excellent understanding of electrical building services systems and full project lifecycle delivery
- Formal Health & Safety qualifications, minimum SMSTS
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing capability
