The Client

My client have been trading for almost 40 years and have a very strong client base. Much of their work is design and build office, restaurant and high end residential fit out. Other work includes traditional tender and build projects.

They have a bullet proof bank sheet, own their own offices and a sensible, but ambitions view on growth of the business, the company now turnover in excess of £10m. Within the office there is a real family feel with the directors leading from the front by being in the office and out on site.

Having recently a secured a number of projects they are now looking to recruit for their operations team.

Role

Electrical Project Manager - £60,000 - £70,000 + Quarterly Productivity Bonus (based on a% of individual & entire department job profits), own Car with mileage allowance for work related journeys. 

Working closely with our clients, our existing lively and motivated office team, subcontractors, and suppliers and our Contracts Directors, he / she will price and manage projects, usually from cradle to grave, from preconstruction to commissioning, handover and final account, including all H & S supervision and paper work. Ensuring that it is driven to provide the best value solutions, and delivered on time and within budget and to the clients’ complete satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure successful execution and completion of the Electrical Installation Projects ranging in size from £10k - £1.5m. Usually several concurrently,
• Meeting defined timescales,
• Ensuring quality standards and commercial objectives while maintaining excellent working relationships with our established clients.
• Electrical design
• Technical submissions
• Project reporting to clients
• Overseeing site team
• Managing project finances

The ideal candidate

• Have 3 years experience as an Electrical Project Manager  
• Ability to take ownership of projects and lead teams
• Ability to oversee multiple jobs at any one time
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Client facing skills.
