Seeking an experienced Project Document Controller to join a successful M&E contractor based in Cambridge. As business they are specialist in Commercial office and Datacentres projects, they also work in Public, Retail, Health, Education, Leisure, Residential and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Role: Document Controller
Location: Between Cambridge Head Office & Site
EDMS: Aconex and SharePoint
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Travel + Healthcare + Pension + 2days WFH monthly (flex)
Roles and Responsibities:
- Downloading and logging all documentation issues to the company via the clients EDMS to Project SharePoint.
- Updating all schedules within Project Report daily – when documentation has been issued or we have received comments/status’ back on documents.
- Issuing documentation to all sub-contractors with trackers and schedules
- Downloading a full schedule of all Status B and C documents and issuing a report each Week to the Project Team for Review.
- Numbering and Identification of Documents as per the project protocol.
- QA Checks of all Documents.
- Log in and out drawings received from CAD Bureaus/Subcontractors via the projects SharePoint.
- Create and maintain users on project electronic document control / defects
- management systems (Aconex)
- Chase outstanding O&M uploads.
- Production of O&M Manuals as directed.
- To work on and maintain Quality management documents, manage information around
- audits etc.
- To assist with the internal H&S audit process.
