Salary: £ 30,000-60,000 Permanent Central London

I am currently working with an extremely profitable and organically grown fit out and furniture contractor. Due to recent promotions the business is now looking to bring in additional support for the telesales team. The business has offices in six major cities providing services in six sectors; office design, fit out, furniture, workplace consultancy, furniture rental and their re-use & recycle scheme.  As a company they focus on quality over quantity ensuring that their core team is dedicated, industry trained and rewarded to provide the best possible service and delivery to a range of clients. From young tech companies to high end banks to government contracts, they have a huge and varied playbook to create spaces with clean high-end finishes or putting slides and upside-down cars on the roof. They have a record of taking on people with an excellent work ethic, drive and determination to succeed. The key thing that my client strives for is an excellent culture and atmosphere within the office. Historically they have turned down ’10 out of 10’ candidates, despite having excellent experience; as they didn’t fit the working environment my client is promoting.


As a business they are heavily invested in staff development; a personal development plan will be set out between yourself and line manager giving you an opportunity to move up / change your role to where your strengths lie.


They now boast a £50m+ annual turnover and have a target goal of £60m by the end of 2021 and this role will be pivotal in achieving that target.  



The Role

As part of their planned growth my client is looking for a Business Developer (Telesales) who will be required to book quality appointments with key decision makers. The successful candidate will be working as part of a strong and successful sales team, who constantly bounce/encourage each other.  This team is consistently given fresh lead generating data, with the opportunity to step into ‘networking’ role via a ‘personal development plan.



Duties and responsibilities:

  • Targeted on qualifying and converting leads into appointments
  • Market research
  • Keeping the database up to date with leads and information
  • Creating, agreeing and executing strategy
  • Self-motivated, ‘can do’ attitude
  • The ability to retain knowledge and control a telephone conversation
  • A proven telesales track record
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Experience communicating with a variety of stakeholders
