Our client is a leading main contractor with an excellent track record working on listed and heritage buildings across London. With a full order book and some extremely interesting schemes ranging from £50 to £100 Million in construction value they are seeking a Building Services Manager to join one of there schemes in West London.
The project is a listed building being converted into super prime residential dwellings. As building services manager you will be responsible for leading the Mechanical and Electrical packages on site for the main contractor, reporting directly to the project Director.
This will include managing all pre construction activities throigh to delivery and commissioning managing the supply chain in the process.
Responsibilities
- Carry out weekly meetings with MEP Contractors, to review progress and forthcoming activities.
- Contractor's design, programme and progress
- Monitor and report on Contractors Procurement and Labour schedules.
- Review Method / Risk / Health and Safety statements
- Testing and commissioning programme
- RFI schedules and progress
- Quality Management of MEP installation instigating Test and Inspection Plan
- Commissioning management
- Statutory Services Provider
The ideal candidate will have
- Relevant Building Services qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) good understanding of both disciplines required.
- Experience working with a main contractor or subcontractor.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Worked within the refurbishment sector, listed building experience would be a bonus.
