Assistant M&E Planner
Location: Basingstoke (Onsite & Remote) - Covering projects in the Southern Region
Salary: £50,000 – Package (Car Allowance + Pension + Private Healthcare)

Our client is a leading contractor throughout the UK whilst also having an international presence. They’ve made a name for themselves in multiple sectors across the construction industry and operate in the MOD, Healthcare, Life Sciences and many more sectors. As being apart of group, they’re financially stable and have a dynamic partnership with each division within the group. As a group, they have a projected £4.5bn annual revenue with multiple projects wins still in the pipeline.
The Role
As Assistant Planner, you'll be working with the wider MEP planning team and will be assisting in the planning and programming for large or complex MOD, Life Sciences or Education projects from a minimum of £5m - £7m. This opportunity gives you the chance to develop your skills as a Planner and work with the wider teams to gain exposure in various sectors, taking on interesting projects.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Planner, you will be working across multiple projects in a range of sectors.
Your day to day will include:
- Support the Planning team complete contract programme updates and associated narrative reports
- Assist in developing the detailed programmes with interface across multiple internal teams.
- Assist the Planning team with look ahead programme meetings.
- Work with the commercial team to manage any contract change.
What are we looking for?
A couple of key requirements we're looking for in an M&E Planner are:
- Intermediate or advanced level user of Asta PowerProject
- Eligibility for SC clearance
- Previous on-site experience as a planner
- Mechanical and electrical experience is desirable
- NEC contract experience is desirable but not essential
