We are currently working with a market leading UK Main Contractor & Developer that currently has a turnover of more than £700 million. Over the last 25 years they have built a range of different partnering relationships and have a substantial order book and a large pipeline for upcoming projects.

They have also been developing their own portfolio and have pipeline of development schemes which means that it is an incredibly exciting time for my client.

The business specialises in range of new build and refurbishment projects, as well as major mixed-use schemes.

 

Sectors include: Housing Development, Community regeneration schemes and Retirement Living, Education, Healthcare & Leisure

 

Business Unit

We are working with a business unit that specialises in Refurbishment & Property Services contracts including planned works, reactive maintenance, facilities management and major works.

These types of works include:

  • Cladding replacements – EWI / Zinc / Rainscreen
  • FRA Works – Passive fire protection and  Fire stopping
  • Remedial works
  • New Roofing
  • Structural works
  • MEP
  • Internal Refurbishment.
  • Void Properties

Clients they work with include: Central Government, Local Authorities & Housing Associations

 

The Role

 

To take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of multiple projects in order to control and maximise the company’s profitability

You will be working on a high profile, multiyear contract supporting reactive maintenance (void properties)

 

Essential / Desirable Experience:

  • QS experience for a main contractor
  • Reactive maintenance experience as a QS
  • Experience working on void properties as a QS
  • Excellent and up to date knowledge of health and safety
  • Full Clean UK Driving License
